From this approach comes the development of practical solutions, including the platform’s first in-house tool, the EU Variation Fees Calculator, created to support professionals working in regulatory affairs in navigating European regulatory requirements and estimating variation fees with greater clarity and confidence.

Angelo Leone
Creator and curator of the project, dedicated to simplifying complex pharmaceutical topics.
Education Background
He holds a solid academic background in life sciences, having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a Master’s degree in Experimental and Applied Biology from the University of Pavia. He further enhanced his expertise by completing a second-level postgraduate Master in Regulatory Affairs – “G. Benzi”, with a thesis dedicated to rare diseases and orphan medicinal products. In addition, he has completed several professional training courses in regulatory affairs, further strengthening his practical knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.

He is a Regulatory Affairs professional with over ten years of experience in European and international pharmaceutical regulatory activities. His career has developed within the pharmaceutical industry, where he has progressively taken on increasing responsibilities, combining strong technical expertise with a structured and strategic regulatory approach.
